I'm just over a month into a new fitness regimen, and much of it is inextricably linked to getting myself outside. (With the weather being so beautiful now, I feel like I'm withering whenever I try to do my exercise indoors.)
Thankfully, I'm blessed with living in a subdivision perched at the outer rim of a greenbelt, so when I put on my walking shoes it's not just for exercise but also for exploration. I'm only a five minute walk from wooded nature trails in at least two different directions And even when I confine my walks to the immediate environment of lookalike houses, there are always many things I notice on foot that I otherwise don't when I'm behind the wheel.
