The basic point of my article was that due process should prevail, and that nobody should ever be condemned before all the facts are in. As I also said in my article, all accusers should be listened to, and all accusations should be investigated.

It doesn't matter how predominantly men are actually guilty of sexual or physical assault, nor how rarely women actually make false allegations--an intentionally false allegation, or an honest mistake in a genuine victims recall, can and will ruin a falsely accused person's life.

The problem with terms such as patriarchy or oppression is that they needlessly politicize the process of justice, and so I have very little use for that sort of rhetoric.
