Your comparison is meaningless. If one is going to a regular beach, they can expect to see people that are scantily clad — after all, it is indeed a beach. Similarly, if one is going to a nude beach, they know ahead of time that they’re in for an eyeful.

A TV event such as the Super Bowl, however, is not a trip to the beach (nude or otherwise). Am I to assume that the mere fact that the halftime performers are latina means that women will be sexually debasing themselves because apparently there’s no other way to express latin culture?

I don’t apologize for insisting on a modicum of class from those who know they’ll be performing in front of (or even on the same stage as) children, and no, being “latina” is no excuse to go completely trash at every available opportunity.
